The customer who didn't answer3 versions of a follow-up text, no pressure

Your screen may look a little different (for example, the name under the message box). That's fine. Don't have a Claude account yet? Guide 1 covers everything. Tap any screenshot to see it bigger.

They asked how much it costs, you answered, and then silence. Most people don't come back because they forgot, not because they're not interested. A short, friendly text brings many of them back. Claude writes a few versions, and you just pick one.

Ask for 3 versions

Start a new chat in Claude (or open your business project, if you have one from guide 2). Tap Copy under the message, and paste it into Claude's message box. Then, right there in Claude's box, replace each part in square brackets with your details (and delete the brackets), before you send:

A customer named [name] asked me [how many days ago] about [what they asked]. I answered, and they never got back to me. Write me 3 short versions of a follow-up text message: one warm, one to the point, and one with a small offer. No pressure, don't sound desperate, and don't make up prices or discounts I didn't give you.

After you tap "Copy": click inside Claude's message box and paste. On a phone: press and hold in the box, then tap "Paste". On a computer: Ctrl+V (on a Mac: Command+V).

Click the orange arrow (2).

The request typed in the message box (1), and the send arrow (2)
In this example: a customer named Emily who asked about root color 3 days ago.

Pick a version and send it

Claude writes 3 versions. On a computer it usually shows them in tabs (Warm, To the point, Small offer): click a tab to read each one, and the Copy button (1) copies the version that's open. Showed them as plain text instead? Select the version you want and copy it. Pick the one that sounds most like you, and fix what's needed.

We asked Claude not to make up prices or discounts. If it adds a note under the versions (for example a "CHECK:" line), that note is for you, not the customer.

Don't like it? Write underneath, like you would to a person: "Shorter", "No exclamation points", "Add a name at the end".

Today's task

Pick one real customer who didn't get back to you this week. Ask for 3 versions, read them, fix them if needed, and send the one that fits best. No need for a full name or identifying details: a first name is enough.
